Apollo 15 Page

Awhile back I had the honor of building a custom walking stick for Al Worden, an Astronaut on the Apollo 15 Mission. Below are some photo's of the mission itself and how I carved each piece to honor the mission on this unique stick!

Here is the Command Module and my carving on top of the stick.

Al Wordens helmet and my carving of Snoopy as painted on the side of his helmet.

The NASA Patch and my drawing of it on the stick

This is the actual Apollo 15 Mission Patch

And my carving of the Patch going around the stick just below the handle.

This section of the stick tells the Landing Zone and dates of the mission.

This is the Lunar Lander and my very small drawing of it, just above the moon.

Astronaut Wings along with my carving of the same.

This is a picture of the entire stick.

Al Worden and I at the Seattle Museum of Flight.

Signed copy of Al's new book "Falling To Earth"
